Christmas 2008

So this is really late, but I still wanted to post about the great holidays our family had. The best part was having Thomas and enjoying Christmas with a baby in the house. He is such a great baby and Travis and Makenna love him so much. It is cute to see how they talk to him and give him loves! This was the cutest little Christmas outfit that I loved putting him in. He was so soft and snuggly! And yes, he was very serious at this point. I had hoped to start getting smiles for Christmas but no luck. The smiles are now here, though (more on that later!)

Travis and Makenna got to see Santa at our ward party! It was so cute how they had the room set up and decorated. Way better than the mall!

Christmas eve- (we are currently going through a I'm-not-sure-how-to-smile-for-the-camera phase: Trav won't show teeth and Makenna is overthinking it!)

And Christmas morning was very fun! I love Christmas with little kids and new toys! Here is Trav with the new BatCave! (he was disappointed, however, that some of the wrapped gifts for him were new clothes, which he needed badly, but he thought were lame!)

Both kids had fun opening their gifts! Makenna got Polly Pockets (yikes!) and all the kids got some nice new books from grandparents!

The best part about Christmas is just hanging out all day and being together as a family! We had visits from family before and after Christmas that were really fun also. I feel bad that sometimes things get so busy during the holidays that I wish they were over, but I always go back and realize how much fun we had as a family and how magical that time of year is! We had a great 2008!
